Drama Digest

The plot revolves around the protagonist, Will, who is born into a new world, waking up to three primary entities. Those were a skeleton named Blood who teaches him to battle, a ghost named Gus who teaches him magic, and a mummy named Mary who teaches him religion and responsibility. Living in the ruins of a fallen city, Will is raised by these three entities, who, apart from everything else, teach him the most important thing: love.

The Feel-Good Part

The art in general is basic but good enough for the anime. It could have been better if the animation was more fluid and dynamic. The theme of the anime is good, which makes the audience engage in self-reflection. However, if the production was better, one could have enjoyed watching the anime more.

The Disappointing Factor

Throughout the narrative, we are given details of all the characters to get to know them better. However, they fail to engage with the plot, making it look incomplete. Also, the production of this anime is not too great as the animation quality is poor. Overall, the adaptation of characters and their portrayal in the anime is weak, making it less interesting for the audience to follow the show.

In-Depth Analysis

Making a good isekai anime requires careful planning of the imaginary fantasy world. On that part, the anime has done an excellent job. It is fascinating to see the fantasy world and to follow the protagonist’s journey within it. Secondly, the character development is also decent enough as it complements the show’s theme very well. Quality VFX and SFX could have made this anime unique and outstanding, but overall this is a decent show.

Star Power

The three entities, Blood, Gus, and Mary, are the show’s highlights because Will would have been clueless without their teachings. The way Will’s character and personality are shaped by the events in the anime is also fascinating to watch. The audience gets to see Will’s journey from beginning to end, which makes them feel more connected to him.

Overall Opinion

If you are into isekai anime, then give this one a watch. It makes for good one-time entertainment, and you might find some interesting elements in the show. Overall, if the production had been better, indeed the anime would have been worth it.
