Anime Digest

The Neuroi, a mysterious alien race, are being prepared for a new onslaught. The goal is to secure Berlin, the Empire of Karlsland’s capital city, which is required to eliminate the Neuroi threat from Europe. However, because the enemy can adapt to the battlefield on a daily basis, allied forces and current Striker technology may not be enough to win. Road to Berlin is the 3rd season of ‘Strike Witches,’ and this review presume you’ve seen the previous seasons and are familiar with the situation. For those who haven’t seen it, it is set in a 1940s alternate reality where, instead of WWII, aliens known as Neuroi are at war. They control a significant piece of the globe, mainly continental Europe. The resistance is led by a group of teenage witches.

The Feel-Good Part

The 501st Squadron, also known as the “Strike Witches,” has returned! They’re fighting the Neuroi this time in the air above Europe. There is a nest above Berlin, but the Witches must first defeat them over Antwerp and Kiel in order to liberate those cities.

The Disappointing Factor

Viewers who do not like ecchi might get dishearterned.

In-Depth Analysis

Preparations are well underway for a new onslaught against the Neuroi, a mysterious species of alien invaders. The goal is to secure Berlin, the Empire of Karlsland’s capital, which is crucial for eliminating the Neuroi threat from Europe. However, because the enemy has the ability to adapt to the battlefield on a daily basis, allied forces and current Striker technology may not be enough to win. Yoshika Miyafuji, a Fuso Witch, is continuing her medical education in Lausanne. She is ready to help in the war effort after recovering from a previous incident that took away her magical abilities. The 501st Joint Fighter Wing’s scattered witches must be united once again for a final drive against the enemy when the call to arms comes.

Star Power

‘Strike Witches’ Road to Berlin is in its third season, and the review assumes you’ve seen the previous seasons and are familiar with the circumstances. For those who haven’t seen it, it takes place in a 1940s other universe where, instead of WWII, there is a war against aliens known as Neuroi. They dominate a large portion of the planet, particularly continental Europe. Teenage witches are in the forefront of the resistance.

Overall Opinion
