Anime Digest
When the negative emotions are immensely festered, five fairies from their different realms are sent to earth in order to maintain control. These five fairies start living as normal high school students. Gradually they find out about someone whose work is to create chaos and sin. Their ultimate mission is to destroy this individual or force and maintain peace once again.
The Feel-Good Part
The show will get you hooked from the first episode. This is so much more than an action, fantasy show. It has a great storyline and a plot worth watching. It is so simply queer and chaotic that you’ll want more than just 12 episodes.
The second thing is that it is so unique to bring emotions into the limelight. This is an interesting and distinctive idea.
The Disappointing Factor
The characters are underdeveloped. For a show who took 10 out of 12 episodes for character introduction, it is pretty bad.
Also, it is not a musical drama but the director tried to put music every chance they got. Even though the opening and ending songs are catchy, we don’t want them in every 5 minutes.
In-Depth Analysis
Fairy Ranmaru: Anata no Kokoro Otasuke Shimasu is a show with many good things but it comes with its many flaws. It has an interesting plot that highlights the emotional aspect of a human and a villain who wants to destroy their peace of mind. Five fairies are sent on earth to solve this mystery and destroy the villain. But are they successful in doing so? Well, of course. But how? For that, you’d have to watch the show.
The show has good emotional pacing and if only the characters were a bit more developed, it would’ve been great. Also, it has a lot of mature content, so the rating should be above 18.
Star Power
The characters are good and diverse but are not fully developed. As for the voice actors, they’ve done a great job.
Overall Opinion
The show is fine. Not very good, but not very bad also. If you are a BL fan and looking for handsome fairies coming to earth kind of drama, this one is for you.
