Drama Digest

In the show, the town is filled with factory smoke. Since the city has a lot of chimneys and smoke, the people haven’t seen the sky yet. They didn’t believe in the sky or stars. So the boy and the monster decided to show the people of the village the reality.

The Feel-Good Part

The movie has a unique storyline. The action scenes are crazy. The whole setting is beautiful. The world where the film happens is gorgeous there, are a lot of exciting things in the place. Even the little something about the site are exciting.

The Disappointing Factor

The plot gets confusing at some point. They introduced a lot of side stories and ideas. But they never developed or explained it. Some things like why and how they are hiding under the smoke because of the debt still need clarity. A lot of side Characters are introduced along the way, but nothing about them after that.

In-Depth Analysis

A city is covered with smoke and fog. It’s a town of factories. The exciting thing is that they think stars don’t exist because no one in the city have seen the sky before. A young boy, lubichi is the protagonist of the story. One day he befriended someone made of garbage and calles him poupelle. The boy didn’t have a father, and his mother was ill before passing away. His father told him the stories of stars.

Star Power

The main characters are poupelle and lubicchi by Katerine, Philippe and Bloc, Fanny. Supporting characters are Antonio, Dennis, Rebecca, Bruno, Lola, Scoop, Dorothy, Claire, Dan, Suu, Patch, Toppo and Toshiaki. The Director of the movie is Kasamatsu and Kouji. Character Design by Akiyama, Kiiro

Overall Opinion

It’s a genuine good movie. The idea and theme of the story are excellent. But they didn’t do justice to the plot. It would have been a lot better if they concentrated more on the clarity of the story than the action scenes. The friendship of the duo is also a good thing about the movie.
