Drama Digest

The story is about a boy who was raised by Pokemon after he was lost in the wood. He grew up in the woods as one of them. He believes it’s his home and has adapted to the lifestyle. Eventually, one day, he meets Ash and Pikachu then, he learns the truth about his real identity.

The feel-Good Part

The art style improved a lot compared to the previous movies. The storyline improved a lot, and it had a lot of exciting scenes. Animation has also changed for the better. It’s like watching Pokémon in the current generation. Character development is also an essential factor. They improved from their usual cringe-worthy selves. The portrayal of the relationship between Pokémon and humans is the best thing.

The Disappointing Factor

There’s slightly lousy pacing in the storyline. We can feel that the story is somewhat similar to Disney’s Tarzan. But it’s not like that. Even though there are references and similarities, there’s more to it. So many of the viewers miss the old-style Pokemon, and since this one has developed, a lot of people have gotten offended. But comparison is not needed. Both have their unique style.

In-Depth Analysis

This is thirty-third movie of Pokémon. Here a young boy was raised by Pokémon. A bond forms between humans and Pokémon. He grew up in the forest of Okoya, far from humans, where others are forbidden to enter. He never doubted that he was not a Pokémon. He lives happily with everyone around him. But when one day, Ash and Pikachu came by, things got out of hand, he began to have doubts about his existence. Whether he is human or not. He started to realize his true Identity. The movie is slightly referred to as Tarzan and the Jungle Book. This is the first movie in Pokémon history where new characters are not introduced.

Star Power

In the movie, there are Humans and Pokemon. So the characters are divided into these categories.  Ash Ketchum, Koko, Doctor Zed, Sharon, Jessie, and James are the main characters as humans. The characters in Pokémon are Zarude (Dada), Pikachu, Meowth, Wobbuffet, Celebi (Shiny), Butterfree, and Oddish. All the characters in the movie are exciting. They made it funny and interesting.

Overall Opinion

Like every other Pokémon film, this one made many people happy. The movie is funny and exciting. The movie can be saved for a weekend binge-watch. There is a lot of humor and exciting content. This movie was the best Pokémon movie out there until now. Setting aside the humor part, it has a lot of emotional content. The values and morals are expressed beautifully.
