Drama Digest
A psychological drama about a “stigma-creating” Internet reporter and a “stigma-erasing” digital undertaker who are dealing with a tragic occurrence triggered by a hidden camera crime.
The Feel-Good Part
Jeong-persona hoo’s is mostly used as a paternal cypher to demonstrate how a guy can ignore a woman’s complaints or concerns without being a bad person.
The Disappointing Factor
Do-yeong (Han Ji-eun) is the woman who holds him accountable. She’s attempting to delete Jeong-web hoo’s record of obscene sex tape stories. Which is yet another story detail that is both factually and ethically dubious, but that is probably overthinking it.
In-Depth Analysis
“EP Hi Dorothy” will depict the story of an internet reporter who is pitted against a digital undertaker (a person who deletes someone’s personal data on the internet for legitimate reasons). This occurs following the discovery of a hidden camera crime scene. Jang Do Young, the digital undertaker, is pitted against Byeon Jeong Hoo, an internet reporter.
Star Power
The plot is heightened by the contrast of the recurring suicidal thoughts storyline, which uses the same mood but in reverse. Where the weird sex tape community is unified in their love of creepy sex tapes, its victims believe the creepy sex tape group is the entire globe. The outcome is self-hatred, not only for being a public figure, but for simply being human.
Overall Opinion
When “EP, Hi Dorothy” enters cyberspace, whether through abstract conversation or disembodied computer visuals, the action takes on an unearthly air. In terms of cold unempathetic reasoning, it’s viciously tense and genuinely inhuman.
