Drama Digest
This is the five-episode special for the 2gether series. Since in the first season the main leads, Tine and Sarawat, already enter into a long-term relationship, this season provides us with a look into their future. The question ‘Will their love last through all difficulties?’ is what this season revolves around. The drama begins when the young couple enters into the second year of their relationship. Tine and Sarawat are still very much in love with each other. However; it isn’t just their relationship that is growing; rather, their life is evolving too. New responsibilities entered their life when Sarawat and Tine become the presidents of the music club and cheerleading club of their university, respectively. Their compassionate romance is put to peril when a feud breaks out between these clubs during their practise sessions in adjacent rooms. Will they be able to get through this now when even their friends are standing against each other?
The Feel-Good Part
The drama is executed very beautifully. The pinnacle of the drama would be how it rectified every mistake or complaint that the audience had regarding the first season. This five-episode special series solely works on redefining the relationship between Tine and Sarawat and the other characters that surround them. Everything that the audience didn’t like at the end of the first season had been worked on, and as a result, the story in this season is back on the enjoyable track – exactly where the audience wanted it. This season ends up giving a very appealing wrap to the story of Tine and Sarawat.
The Disappointing Factor
The season isn’t a new separate season that can be watched as a standalone. There isn’t any in-depth story overloaded with twists. It is just a five-episode special. Moreover, at some points, the story feels ludicrous. For instance, how Tine and Sarawat had been separated almost just for a week alone, but Tine is shown to be so miserable as if it’s been years. Things like these made the plot feel somewhat weak and cheaply woven.
In-Depth Analysis
The drama is short and sweet, and it will leave you in a very delightful zone. From cute moments to silly comedy, almost everything is just how the viewers desired it to be. You will notice that every aspect of the series if compared with that of the first season is undoubtedly better and more attractive. The drama will make you laugh to total contentment. It is a charming, wholesome story that anyone can pick up when looking for something entertaining. The drama will infuse in you a sense of satisfaction and gratification, which the first season somewhat failed to provide us (primarily through the ending).
Star Power
The cast did a pretty fine job. You will feel how their acting skills have got even better. They do an even better job than what they did in the first season. Everything from the depiction of emotions and the chemistry is more enjoyable. ‘Metawin Opas-iamkajorn’ plays the role of Tine Teepakorn. ‘Vachirawit Chiva-aree’ plays the character of Sarawat Guntithanon. They both did an outstanding job as the main leads.
Overall Opinion
Everyone who saw or plans on watching the 2gether series should also check out Still 2gether. Your experience with this series won’t be complete if you don’t, and quite frankly speaking, neither will you have enough fun with it (if you skip Still 2gether).
