Movie Digest
Seo-jin (Kim Mu-Yeol) is an architect who lost his wife in a car accident. He tries to find the culprit. Seo-jin visits his psychiatrist often to find the culprit using the hypnosis method. He gets a call from an orphanage claiming that they found his sister (Yoo-jin), who went missing in 1996. As Yoo-jin (Song Ji-Hyo) returns home after 25 years, she tries to impress the whole family. However, Seo-jin becomes suspicious of Yoo-jin, as he wondering is she his actual sister. Seo-jin thinks something is wrong with his sister. he then watches Cctv footage of his wife’s accident, where he finds traces of Yoo-jin at the accident scene. Now it’s up to Seo-jin to know the real identity of Yoo-jin.
The Feel-Good Part
The movie succeeded in giving viewers heightened feelings of suspense. The twists in the plot made it even more enjoyable. It gives mixed feelings to viewers and manages to keep the viewers curious throughout the movie. Viewers can get surprising and questioning moments with complete satisfaction.
The Disappointing Factor
Every character did their best to keep viewers excited. the plot may seem boring for viewers as there is no explanation for some scenes, which leaves viewers with no answers. Besides that, there’s nothing much lacking in the movie.
In-Depth Analysis
The intruder is a South Korean movie directed by Sohn Won-pyung. The story is about an architect, Seo-jin, still grieving his wife’s death. Seo-jin feels discomfort after the return of his sister after 25 years. When the whole family is happy with the return of Yoo-jin, Seo-jin suspects his sister. He thinks she isn’t his actual sibling. His family has started to behave differently toward Seo-jin ever since Yoo-jin came to the house. Seo-jin tries to investigate his wife’s accident, he then finds Yoo-jin in the accident spot, which leaves him even more suspicious. Seo-jin feels his family is in danger. Seo-jin tries to stop what his sister is trying to accomplish.
Star power
The actors did their best. Kim Mu-Yeol and Song Ji-Hyo both did their roles well. Park Min-ha (Ye-na) is an outstanding actor who succeeded in keeping the father-daughter relationship.
Overall Opinion
it’s a must-watch movie for viewers who like mystery/thriller. The film is worth watching.
