The Last 10 Years is a Japanese movie that was released in 2022. The movie tells the story of a twenty-year-old girl named, Matsuri Takabayashi. Matsuri learns that she has an incurable disease that will allow her to live for a limited time, which is for the next 10 years. After discovering her disease, she decides that she will not fall in love or dwell. However, destiny had other plans as cupid strikes as she meets Manabe Kazuto at a get-together at her school.
The Feel-Good Part
The direction and cinematography of the movie are noteworthy. The actors did a terrific job of portraying the emotions the characters were going through, the chemistry between the lead characters was spot-on. The movie gives out a very important message of loving every bit of your life. The soundtrack of the movie is terrific and goes well with the scenes.
The Disappointing Factor
The movie is well-shot and written, not leaving any room for disappointments, but even so, if we might point out, the movie despite being 2 hours does feel fast-paced and rushed.

The movie is one of the best Japanese melodramas which will surely make you cry a river.
