Drama-Digest

The father of Rangrong adopted Roithongsai, an orphan girl. After Rangrong’s father passed away, Rangrong took care of her. Roithongsai attempts to flee after learning that Rangrong views her romantically rather than as a sister. Given that Rangrong is constantly in her vicinity and is observing her, this task is rather challenging. This drama follows the journey of a little girl who must flee her perverse benefactor, who has caused her great grief. Can Roithongsai help her make a difference in her life?

The Feel-Good Part

It’s a GL that’s well worth watching, and Rangrong, the main character, is so toxic that she wants Sai against her will. Watching how she impresses and convinces her to love her back is interesting.

The Disappointing Factor

The story would have been more appealing if it hadn’t been depicted as an obsessed, crazed woman who goes on a rampage against anyone who dares to aid Sai in escaping from her. They tried, but the delivery wasn’t strong enough. Up until episodes 11 and 12, as the conflicts peaked, everything was going according to plan. It was overdone with too many lines from the older sister defending her terrible deeds stemming from her traumatic experiences with males in her past. It failed to achieve the dramatic art required for the audience to become emotionally invested in the character.

In-Depth Analysis

The novel’s protagonist is a woman who gradually grows more mentally ill throughout the narrative. We acquire snippets of information about what happened in her past to shape her in this way. And in her mental instability, she harms the one most dear to her, believing that she is acting in that person’s best interests. There isn’t a dull time in the plot, but that’s not always a good thing. The story is difficult to understand because things happen one after another. There would always be three “plot twists” even if they stretched out an event. Then there were some implausible sequences, such as how the ex-husband would know the escape automobile used and chase his ex-wife while in the hospital during the caught scene. No one ever spotted the older sister putting a piece of broken glass inside her pocket, even with people around her.

Star Power

In this job, Cris excelled. As always, Zani kills the OST. The OST’s lyrics do a fantastic job of capturing Rungrong. The cast performed an outstanding job. This program is better with the actors. I enjoy seeing female actors portraying characters who have strong personalities, like the four women in this drama. However, they were not always fearless when their flaws were exposed. The same is true of the male characters in this film, a wisely acting married older man and a youthful single man who protects the female lead from her older sibling.

Overall Opinion

The conclusion differed from the movie’s and the television show’s finale spoiler. While the modified decision they provided for all the other characters is OK, I wish they had preserved Rungrong’s movie finale. The final two episodes effectively tie everything together. It would be a suggestion if you don’t get upset easily and appreciate the actors. A lot was going on, but it was all quite entertaining.
