A wild goose chase begins as everyone rushes to find the cause behind the poor girl’s death.
The Feel-Good Part
The entire drama has a pretty exciting and engaging concept. The depiction of the murder and other darker elements are very vivid, which is rare in Thai Dramas. The visuals are very compelling and how the entire series has been shot adds depth to the plot. The actors did a fantastic job with their characters and they brought their A-game to the show. Their acting was so convincing that you start to hate the antagonists yet you are also intrigued by their actions. It’s like every character has a dark side to them which makes you think a lot before deciding whose side to take.
The Disappointing Factor
The biggest problem with this drama is that they did not explore the character of Pare properly. She is technically the main focus of the drama since everything begins with her death. Yet, the creators of the show failed to give her character a decent profile. In the end, she becomes nothing more than a prop for plot progression. Despite the actors performing to the best of their abilities, they are restricted by the script. The characters are barely given any time to establish themselves beyond their basic setting. Given the duration of each episode and the number of episodes, the writers try to resolve the plot quickly. By doing this, they ended up having several inconsistencies in the story and several major plot holes.
In-Depth Analysis
The show will exceed most expectations but fall short on the most unexpected things. Overall it is a fairly decent crime thriller and will certainly keep you engrossed throughout. The short duration and length of the show are perhaps the show’s biggest strengths. This prevents the shortcomings of the show from blowing up to the point that the show gets dull. Apart from the family drama and the suspense of unravelling the mystery behind Pare’s death, there is not much else to look forward to in the drama. The romantic interests in the show did not make much sense and their interactions were very stiff. The general atmosphere of the drama is quite serious, therefore it is not something you watch just to pass time.
Star Power
The cast has some really talented people. The main lead Vee is played by Nonkul Chanon Santinatornkul and the role of Kate is played by Mook Worranit Thawornwong. Both of them play their characters perfectly but their potential should have been explored more.
Overall Opinion
The show is definitely a good choice to watch if you are in the mood for something fast-paced and dark.
