Reuan Rom Ngiw 9 (also known as House of Dark Shadows) is a Thailand web series that narrates the tragic love story of Malaai, a woman who was forced to marry Luang Wisarn. The drama is set in 1920s Thailand, when polygamy was permitted. Thus, the male lead has two wives and two gay lovers.  The plot is identical to that of FrozenxFlower. Play’s narrative includes killings, scandals, sorrow, betrayal, and passionate romance. Wisan prefers males, but he was compelled to marry a woman to leave an heir to the property. Wisan never touched his wife, Malaai, and even told her he was infertile. He gave Dech the command to impregnate Malaai.  Dech was a servant of Wisan. However, Dech was in love with Malaai, but he couldn’t defy the orders of his masters. Wisan afterward brought home a mistress. From here, the narrative begins to take dramatic turns.

The Disappointing Part

At times, Reuan Rom Ngiw is overly theatrical. They also frequently used the technique of flashbacks for liking. Things that took place a few scenes ago are already a flashback. This gets a bit annoying after some time. Some stories are too long.

There are 2-3 episodes entirely unnecessary episodes. Reuan Rom Ngiw could have ended with fewer episodes. You may need to watch the episodes twice as fast at times. The twist was also foreseeable.

In-depth Analysis
