Drama Digest
This season continues the story of Teng, Ko, Tak, and Sek. They are all still the same old fun boys who are discovering many sides of love and relationships. There are new problems in their way now. Their misunderstandings lead to many conflicts and they are all just looking for ways to solve things between them and have a normal relationship together.
The Feel-Good Part
The show is hilarious. No matter what it will not fail to make you laugh. And the part where the father of one of the characters finds out about his son being gay is so funny. The setting in the countryside was refreshing. It showcases some traditional Thailand which is good for people who like to learn new things about places.
The Disappointing Factor
The acting didn’t improve at all in this new season. The acting is very amateur. This is a major drawback in Thai drama, their acting. They have a good story but in the acting aspect, they don’t do that good. and in this show, it is straight-up annoying. You can clearly see that they are acting and doing a very bad job at that.
In-Depth Analysis
Love Poison 2 is the continuation of the story from the first season. It’s about four boys exploring the essence of youth. Having a hard time being in a relationship, falling in and out of love, experiencing heartbreaks, and living their youth.
In this season, they have a lot of misunderstandings between them and the formation of a love triangle begins following with heartbreak of, of course, the second lead. Things get cliché with predictable things happening which happen in every other drama but the storyline is still promising and the plot gets better.
Star Power
The star cast is the same as in the first season and their acting skills are non-existent. Some characters are somewhat better but some are so irritating that you want their part to be over as soon as possible.
Overall Opinion
If you’ve seen the first season then go for this one also because it is a cute BL story and the people who have seen the first season just love these characters. The second season is not a complete waste of time. But if you haven’t watched the first season, then don’t watch this because even if has very little to do with the first season, it still gets confusing.
