Yoo’s world also have two other important characters. The first is Cha Hoo Young filled with greed and desire who sole aim is to protect her family and upper-class image. The second is Go Mi Sook, a private moneylender and a restaurant chain owner who has a kind heart.

In-Depth Analysis

Yoo marries her love and dreams of a happily ever after. But she does not get that as her in laws act out owing to her background. They do everything in their power to make her life miserable and perhaps get her to separate from her husband. But Yoo does not break.

The show is all about the proverb “all that glitters in not gold”. What one sees on the outside might not be the truth. Yoo is envied for her rich husband but it is not so, thereby, the name “Gold Mask”.

Star Power

All the three female characters are splendid in their role.
