Drama Digest

Yoo In Ho is a very renowned artist who has been terminally ill in the past year. He gathers his family on his birthday to announce his inheritance but could not do it because of some reason, and his daughter Yoo Bit Na finds him dead the following day.

A fierce mental battle starts for the inheritance, and every family member shows their actual color.

The Feel-Good Part

They manage to create suspense till the end. The drama is intriguing with a lot of mystery, and the new concept that there might be more than one culprit is impressive. The show keeps you engaged till the end.

The Disappointing Factor

None of the characters are particularly likable. You don’t care about any of the characters till the end.

In-Depth Analysis

CHIP-IN gives the vibes of the movie “Knives out.” The plot is similar.

Yoo Bit Na takes charge of solving the case of her father’s death. Did he die in his sleep, or was there someone behind it?

Every character is so suspicious that you can’t figure out who the real culprit is. This is one of those dramas where you try to solve the case with the main lead, trying to find hints in everything. They created good suspense till the end, and the character development was so good till the final episodes. The show gets pretty emotional in the last two episodes. By the end, every character understands that this inheritance is not worth the inner turmoil it has created.

Star Power

Every character is very well played. You might find yourself screaming at those arrogant characters through the screen because they just played it so well.

Overall Opinion

The drama is precisely written and astonishingly executed. The story flows smoothly without feeling too distraught. Also, it only has eight episodes, so the storyline isn’t draggy, and you can finish it in no time.
