Drama Digest
A lady working at a pharmaceutical company named Aihara Mei is efficient at her work but lacks in doing household work. On her 28 birthday, a man appears at her doorstep who claims that he is a housekeeper. Looking upon her condition, she hires him while another stranger, a medical representative also entries Mei’s life. The drama is relatable and satisfying in all ways. Moreover, the ending was not my cup of tea, but it was good to see how Nagisa cared for Mei.
The Feel-Good Part
The cast, the storyline even the characters were all good. This drama is a heart-warming drama with some fantastic frontlines. The acting is written beautifully, and it exceeds in its execution. The narrative weaves various strands together. Some minor details, like Mei’s alarm tone, were touching.
The Disappointing Factor
The only thing is the theatre lacked criticism which could have been present in the drama. The ending turned out to be misogynistic as she has to marry a man who is much older than her.
In-Depth Analysis
The story starts with a young women who has no intention of getting involved in relationship. The plot and the storyline is written as well as picturised nicely. The drama gives positivity to its viewers and amazes them with its plot. Although, the story could have been more exciting and more twists could be added; it seemed to be perfect. It is very convenient to forgive when the writers have bigger topics to tackle. It was good to see the notorious work culture of Japan. I found that the loss of two colleagues at Mei’s workplace made no difference in the company; the remaining colleagues were expected to work harder.
Star Power
The actors performed their part nicely. All the characters showed the sentiments amazingly. Mei’s character was perfect in every way; all the emotions were expressed clearly. The side characters also gave the positivity of the well-managed team.
Overall View
It is a romantic comedy-drama which is a most viewed genre. This work of fiction is favourable.
