Drama Digest

This drama is a story about two ex-classmates who move to Shanghai. Li Wen Jia is a girl who returns to Shanghai, her hometown. Xu Dong Yang comes to shanghai in search of a job. In 2003, during SARS, they met for the first time, and fate separated them, and the same fate brought them together again in a new epidemic in 2020.

The Feel Good Part

We can see in the drama that both our main leads face problems in their workplaces. Dong Yang faced many difficulties but didn’t give up, and due to his honest and hard-working nature, he got promoted. Wen Jia also faced troubles at her workplace, but she came out victorious. She became more vigorous and brave as she faced everyday difficulties at work. They both ended up renting a place together and slowly grew close. When Wen Jia fell ill, Dong Yang became sure about his feelings for his roommate. They eventually decide to get married and start a family. But the path is not easy. Dong Yang loses his job, and Wen Jia becomes a mother. But they overcome everything together and live a happy life in the end.

The Disappointing Part

There is not a disappointing part as such in the drama. It has the right amount of love and difficulties, all actors get enough screen time, and the script looks organized and well-directed. A few scenes can be disappointing, like when Wen Jia faces troubles after becoming a mother. Her in-laws cause her some problems, which makes our female lead sad. Overall, you are looking forward to a well-directed and scripted drama with good music in the background.
