Kim Jong-hyun (April 8, 1990 –December 18, 2017), better known as Jonghyun, was a South Korean artist musician, record maker, radio personality, and creator under the SM Entertainment label. He was the fundamental entertainer of the South Korean boy band Shinee for nine years, delivering twelve collections with the gathering in both Korean and Japanese. He likewise took an interest in SM Entertainment’s task group, SM the Ballad, to arrive at two EP albums. Jonghyun was again an independent artist, starting in January 2015 with his first EP album, Base. It crested at number one on both the Billboard World Album Chart and the Gaon Album Chart.
On September 17 that same year, Jonghyun delivered an assemblage album, Story Op.1. His debut studio album, She Is, was produced on May 24, 2016, followed by his second accumulation album, Story Op.2, on April 24, 2017. On October 2, 2015, Jonghyun launched his debut performance show, The Story by Jonghyun. It was followed by three further shows in the following years. He was widely regarded as South Korea’s top singer. He has received praise for his creative control and collaboration in the creation of his music, which is unusual in K-pop.
Jonghyun remained musically dynamic as the fundamental entertainer of Shinee and as an independent craftsman until his demise on December 18, 2017, when he ended it all by carbon monoxide poisoning. His last album, Poet | Artist, was delivered after death on January 23, 2018. It was declared, preceding the delivery, that all benefits from the collection would be given to Jonghyun’s mom and be utilized to begin a charity foundation. Jonghyun’s family established the Shiny Foundation in September 2018 to assist in the fight against young specialists.
In 2005, Jonghyun was explored by SM Entertainment when he was 15 years of age, after playing in a tune celebration with his band at school. Jonghyun appeared as a feature of the five-part kid group Shinee on May 25, 2008, on SBS’ Inkigayo. Jonghyun joined the group as a musician in 2009, writing the lines for their fourth Korean song, “Juliette,” which was featured on the group’s second EP, Romeo. Jonghyun stated he was inspired by the excellent film Romeo and Juliet and felt compelled to write a touching story that “would pique everyone’s interest while also being a story that everyone can relate to”.
