Jung Doo-hong is a South Korean director, martial arts choreographer, stunt coordinator, and actor. He was born on 14 December 1966, Imcheonmyeon, Buyeo-gun, South Korea. He completed his graduation from Incheon City College, in Physical Education. He got married to Nadya Hutagalung, an Indonesian- Australian model, and got divorced in 1998. He has been active in the Korean Entertainment Industry since 1989. He started his professional career as a stuntman for actor Lee II- Jae in I’m Kwon-Taek’s hit movie General’s Son(1990). After which, his rank improved, and he became the acting director, also known as stunt coordinator, in the film Sirasoni(1992) at the age of 25. Other than these, he has also worked in films such as The City of Violence(2006), Arahan(2004), Fist, and Furious(2019), No Blood No Tears(2002).

Television shows he has worked in are Tong Memories(2016), The Emperor: Owner of the Mask(2017), and Six Flying Dragons(2015-2016). He has also worked in international projects, such as an action director in a Japanese film Seoul(2002) by Masahiko Nagasawa and in 2007 a Russian movie Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan by Sergei Bodrov. He also worked in Hollywood movies such as G.I. Joe: Retaliation(2013) and Red 2(2013). Jung started his professional career as a boxer in the year 2005, in the welterweight division. He also opened a fitness center called ‘Double H Multi Gym’ with the TV host Lee Hoon. Awards won by him are Busan Film Critics Technical Awards. He also got nominated for the award such as Blue Dragon Film Award Technical Award.
