Sarah Emi Bridcutt is a Japanese Voice Actor from the Fukushima prefecture of Iwaki. She is a member of Production Ace. She was born on February 5, 1989, to an Australian father and a Japanese mother. She first saw “Detective Conan (1997)” in first grade and idolized Minami Takayama, who played Conan Edogawa, before pursuing a career as a Voice Actress.
Bridcutt began performing in High school and went on to Nihon University College of Art’s Theater Department following graduation. When she was in her third year of college, she received a scholarship and began attending the ‘Production Ace Acting Research Institute’.
She made her voicing debut in “Problem Children Are Coming from Another World, Aren’t They?” as ‘Asuka Kudō’, in 2013. After that, she got the chance to voice for many characters in several anime series such as Shion Natori in Majestic Prince (2013), Selma Kenworth in Chaika -The Coffin Princess (2014), Kanae in Isuca (2015), Chika Homura in Haruchika (2016), Yuzuru Yamai in Date a Live III (2019), etc. In 2019, she gave voice to ‘Choco & Vanilla Inagaki’ in the anime film “Grisaia: Phantom Trigger The Animation”.
She has also dubbed a few Hollywood movies and series such as American Horror Story: Murder House (2011), Blood Father (2016), Death Wish, L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables (2016), The Missing (2014), etc.
Furthermore, Sarah will voice the anime character ‘Akako Onigashima’, according to the official website for Tomohito Oda’s ‘Komi Can’t Communicate manga’ Television animation.
