Chō, formerly known as Yūichi Nagashima, is a Voice Actor, Narrator, and Dubbing artist residing in Japan. He is known for lending his vocals to Brook in One Piece.

Born and brought up in Kōnosu, Saitama, Japan, He completed his graduation at Nishogakusha University in the department of literature. He attained training at Bungakuza’s research institution and the Seinendan Theater Company and thereby attached himself to Production Baobab in 1986.

He got his name Chō in 2006 after his character played Tanken Boku no Machi.
In 2007 he decided to get a transfer to the Tokyo Actor’s Consumer’s Cooperative Society. Besides being a Voice Artist Chō also possesses excellent calligraphy skills and is a licensed teacher in it.

He has dubbed for movies including Madagascar 2 (2009), Madagascar 3 (2012), and Mulan (1998).Chō has provided his vocals in television animated shows, OVA, video games, etc.

Recognizing his extraordinary efforts towards the voicing section, he was awarded the 12th Seiyu Awards (2018) in the category of Kei Tomiyama Memorial Award.
