Watch the anime to see all the experiences our warrior gets into.

The Feel-Good Part

The anime is surprisingly lighthearted for a fantasy anime. It also hosts a colorful cast of strong female leads who can care for themselves and fight all the troubles thrown their way. The anime also is hilarious, with wholesome moments that keep the viewer engaged and makes them enjoy the characters as much as possible.

The Disappointing Factor

You can expect that this anime is dead set on one storyline with a title like that. There is not much to it. This is a very generic fantasy anime with video game details to add to it. It certainly feels very childish and doesn’t provide much depth to it, which may not be something you look for. But if you are looking for lighthearted fun, this show might just be for you.

In-Depth Analysis

Within the fantasy genre and the video game world, slimes are often seen as lower-ranking creatures that don’t give people many experience points or have any lasting effects on them. This show challenges this actual rank smartly and creatively and creates a character who powers up simply by killing useless creatures.

Star Power

Aoi Yuuki plays Azusa. There is a very childish, playful, and whimsical element to the character that Aoi Yuuki delivers perfectly through her vocal performance. Aoi Yuuki has starred in several anime such as Boku no Hero Academia, Sword Art Online, Free! Eternal Summer, and so many more.

Overall Opinion

It is a standard fantasy RPG video game-style anime. It may have a unique idea, but it still has much to deliver.
