Stella Malucchi is an Italian and Colombian-born Thai model and actor. She was born on 20 June 1977 in Thailand. She did her schooling from Ruamrudee International School.

She has largely worked in Thailand, where she is fluent in Thai and has appeared in two films, Tears of the Black Tiger and Angulimala.

She was discovered in a Thai music video by director Wisit Sasanatieng, who thought she would be excellent for the role of Rumpoey in her first film, Tears of the Black Tiger.

Malucchi was transformed into a young, noble-born Thai woman in 1950s Thailand using make-up and costuming. Stella became ill a week after giving birth to her son on January 2nd and was brought to the hospital on January 24th, 2010. She lost consciousness and slipped into a coma shortly after being taken to ICU. Hyperparathyroidism is a rare illness in which a malfunctioning parathyroid gland causes dangerously high calcium levels (hypercalcaemia). She was put on an artificial lung and heart machine because she was too weak for a procedure to remove her parathyroid. Stella exhibited signs of recovery after five days of dialysis many times a day. Regrettably, issues arose quickly. A lack of blood flow to her right leg produced the infection, necessitating an above-the-knee amputation. Stella’s parathyroid gland was securely removed shortly after the leg was removed and symptoms of infection had vanished, ensuring her survival. Stella awoke one month after being admitted from her coma.
