Biography: Ratchanoo Boonchuduang

A well-known Thai actress who was born on 21st October 1953 is Ratchanoo Boonchuduang. She has shown her acting skills in both Thai movies and television series. In 1976 she appeared in a film named Duchanee Chailai as a lead character. The story of the film is about Niran, an anchor, who is a naval officer at an island in Songkhla province. Over there, he met Duchanee, who is an innocent and beautiful girl. For Niran, it was love at first sight, and from there, the love story of Niran and Duchanee began. However, as time passed, both of them became more deeply in love with each other. But Duchanee’s father has become worried about his daughter’s relationship as Niran was a naval officer. As his work has commanded, Niran has to return to Bangkok. On the other hand, Duchanee finds out that she is pregnant with Niran’s child. However, the table turns when Niran gets to know Siriyukol, a famous high society girl. Both of them decided to put forward their relationship and agreed to get married. The notable cast members of the movie are Ratchanoo Boonchu Duong as Duchanee, Aranya Namwong, Krung Srivilai, and Somchai Samipak.

In 1988 Ratchanok Boonchu Duong again featured in a film titled Filing. The story of the movie is about two men and one girl, who are childhood friends. All three of them spent their whole childhood together and gave rise to many memories. However, as time, passes this friendship turns into a love triangle. The cast units of this movie are Noom Santisuk Promsiri as Pattaya, Mam Jintara Sukapat as Ray, Sakrat Ruekthamrong as Chote, Jaruwan Panyopas as Surang who is Sattaya’s mother, Ratchanok Boonchu Duang as Rain who is Ray’s mother, and Trerak Rakkandee as Weronika.

Apart from working in movies, Ratchanok Boonchu Duong has also worked in several television shows. Koom Pah Kham is a television show which came out in 1978. In this serial, Ratchanok Boonchu Duong played the lead character. The show’s story revolves around a cop who arrives in a palace to solve a mystery; however, during this investigation, the cop falls in love with the middle daughter of the family who resides there. The crew members of the serial are  Nhing Nirut Sirijanya as Pol. Lt. Non-AKA Chakrit, Ratchanok Boonchu Duang as Darika AKA Da, and Kannika Thammakesorn as Methinee AKA May.
