Nicole Theriault was born on June 23, 1972, better known by her stage name Nikki, is a Thai singer and actress of French descent. Her debut album Ka-Po-Lo Club went platinum with 2 million copies sold, and her second album Funny Lady went double platinum, earning her Breakout Artist of the Year for her first album and Best Female Artist of the Year for her second album. She has recorded 13 albums in all, five of them are solo albums and the others are collaborations and cover albums.

Nicole began her education at Twinkle Star Kindergarten in Bangkok and went on to Ruamrudee International School for classes one through three. She attended the Preparatory School in the United States for the next three years of her education. Her family then relocated to Bangkok, where she finished her secondary schooling​. She spent two years at Assumption University before completing her B.A. in arts at Framingham College in Massachusetts. She also graduated from Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois, with a bachelor’s degree in business. She is linked to the Edmundston, New Brunswick, Theriault family.

Nicole’s career began once she returned to Thailand. Since 1998, she has been involved in music production, singing, acting, and live performances in theatre and concerts. On January 24, 2004, Nicole tied the knot with Jirasuk Panphum, a singer/producer. On February 15, 2008, they decided to divorce. Aaron Achira Theriault is the couple’s only son.

In 2016, she starred in HBO’s ‘Halfworlds,’ and in 2018 she starred in NETFLIX’s ‘Innocence: Bangkok Love Story.’ She starred in several musicals, the first with Thongchai McIntyre, Thailand’s megastar, followed by ‘Breathe the Musical’, Laddaland, a thriller drama with Mos Pattiparn, and her most recent theatre performance was at Muangthai Rachadalai Theater in late 2018 as the lead in ‘Still on My Mind the Musical,’ Thailand’s equivalent of Broadway. Nicole has released a song every year after leaving GMM Grammy Records as an independent artist, and she just released a cover version of ‘Rewrite the Stars’ with Thailand’s entrepreneur Patee Sarasin in June 2019. Her current work can be seen Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. on Channel One 31 in the comedy series ‘Leila TidaYuk,’ and she is currently filming an upcoming TV drama as Rose in ‘Don’t Touch My Dad,’ which will air on PPTV in August.
