Biography: Laila Boonyasak

Laila Boonyasak or Laila Bunyasak, previously known as Chermarn Boonyasak (Choeman Bunyasak), is a Thai actress and fashion model. She hails from Bangkok, Thailand. Born on 15th September 1982, her nickname is Ploy. Virgo is her zodiac sign.

She is well-known for her part in the film “The Love of Siam” as “June/Tang.” She portrayed the lead role in a horror-comedy “Buppah Rahtree and Buppah Rahtree Phase 2: Rahtree Returns,” by Yuthlert Sippapak. Laila also appeared in Pen-Ek Ratanaruang’s “Last Life in the Universe.” She portrayed Daran Boonyasak’s younger sister in the film. Daran is her real-life elder sister.

Laila debuted as an actress in the drama “Na Tang Baan Raek” in 2001 at 18. She played the character of the “First Window.” She also portrayed a supporting role in the 2007 teen film “Love Of Siam.” She earned a “Suphannahong National Film Award” for “Best Supporting Actress.” In the movie “Buppha Ratree,” she played the role of a vengeful ghost.
