Jintara Poonlarp is a famous pop singer and actress from Thailand. She was born in Roi Et Province, Thailand, on 6th March 1969.

She is a prolific performer of mor lam (Thai countryside) and luk thung (Thai pop-country) genre and released 50 original albums, 47 singles, numerous compilations, and music videos. ‘Ma Tammai’ and ‘Faen Ja’ are two of her most successful and hit string (Thai Pop) songs. She co-wrote the songs with Thongchai McIntyre.

Jintara released 38 original albums and various anthologies by February 2006. She rose to prominence with the song ‘Tao Ngoi,’ which charted at No. 1 in Thailand from 2018 to 2019, with 123 million YouTube views in less than a year. Roi Et Rajabhat University bestowed an honorary degree on her in October 2004.

Jintara debuted on television in 2001 with the series ‘Nai Hoy Tamin’, the show depicted the lives of rural people in Isan during the historical period. She co-starred in the 2006 action picture, ‘Chai Lai (Dangerous Flowers),’ she played a member of the top-secret team of female crime fighters.
