He won the “Best Adapted Screenplay” nomination for “Libera Me (2000)” and “Fighter in the Wind (2004)” at the “Grand Bell Awards in 2015.” He worked on the films “Holiday (2006),”Grand Prix (2008),” “Rainbow Eyes (2007),” among others. Yang also co-directed “Iris: The Movie,” a film based on the 2009 television series of the same name.
He hails from Jeju Island, South Korea. He completed his education in “Theater and Film Studies” from “Dongguk University.” Yang Yun-ho began his career in 1992, as a film director, at the age of 26.
