So Yong Kim is an independent female Korean Filmmaker who has made her place in the Film and Television Industry for her great significant artwork. She was born in 1968 in Busan in South Korea but later on, her family immigrated to Los Angeles.
Her movies mainly focus on the human conditions which are quite indie. She has studied business as her mother insisted, but afterwards, she chose her path and decided to pursue her career in Filmmaking.
