After graduating from high school, Fukami went to Tokyo Announcer Vocational School and studied voice acting. She then joined a talent agency and started her career as a voice actress. When she was a teenager, she works as an MC for a puppet theatre, and also, she worked as the in-store announcer for Mitsubishi Ginza for two years as a part-time job. Mostly, she’s following her passion. No matter what happens because this job gives her comfort. However, friends and family encouraged her to travel into voice actress.

In public, she is known as a voice actress, but she is also a narrator and vocalist. She has many songs albums like Route Venus, Tuxedo mirage, Anata No Yume I mita Ma, The west wild, and Makin love.
Additionally, she got the license as a hypothetical in the United States. Also, she won a 14th Seiyu Award for Kazue Takahashi Memorial Award in 2020.
