He married Yoo Hye – Yeon on October 14, 2006, who was his girlfriend of about three and half years. At the age of 15, he got introduced to American Pop music. In 2000, he decided that he would pursue music as his career & become a musician. In 2001, He debuted with his album named ‘ PSY from the Psycho World! ‘
His sixth studio album named PSY- 6 part I, which contained the single, “Gangnam Style”, was a huge success. His music video for “Gangnam Style” went viral making it the first video to gain more than one billion views on youtube. In April 2013, he released a new single, “Gentleman” which became a commercial success and topped international charts.
