Jang Jin was born on 24 February 1971, Seoul, South Korea. He completed his education at the Seoul Institute of Arts in theatre. He is a film director, play writer, theatre director, film producer, screenwriter, and actor. He got married to Cha Young- Eun in May 2007 and was blessed with two children, Jang cha-Yoon and cha-in. When he was young, he decided to pursue singing as his profession, but when he saw a theatre play for the first time, his mind got diverted. When he was in high school, he acted in almost 40 plays and got great compliments. After that, he joined Seoul institute for further learning about theatre. His latest film is of 2015, a crime scene. The latest award he got is for best screenplay in 2000 from 36th Baeksang Arts.
