Takeshi Kaga is a Japanese film and stage actor. He was born on 12 October 1950 in Kanazawa, Japan. Takeshi’s first stage performance was at seven. He was a part of the Kanazawa City Boys group. At 12, he joined the company Gekidan Shiki, where he performed the character of Jesus in the film Jesus Christ Superstar. He did many films during the 1980s, but the most famous character was Chairman Kaga. Takeshi hosted many cooking shows like Iron Chef and Ryori no Tetsujin. He became popular across the English-speaking world. Takeshi has given voice to the Japanese anime Pokemon The movie. He has also sung the title song for Pokemon. He returned to films and dramas after the show Iron Chef was over. Kaga appeared in both sequels of the film Death Note. He did movies like The Beast to die, Suspicion, Ultraman Zearth, Saiyuki, Ninja Kids!!!, Whistleblower, Bushi no Kondate, etc.
