Takahiro Fujimoto is a retired Japanese male medley swimmer turned actor, who competed in two consecutive Summer Olympics beginning in 1988. He was born in Fukuoka, Japan, on July 21, 1970. At the 1992 Summer Olympics, he came in eighth place (4:23.86) in the Men’s 400m Individual Medley event.

Fujimoto started his acting career in 1997 and has been starring in various TV dramas and movies. His most known movies are “Yamato (2005)”, “Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Fourze and OOO Movie Taisen Mega Max (2011)”, “Neet Neet Neet (2018)”, “Hit Me Anyone One More Time (2019)”, “Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning (2021)”, etc. “Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning” is a live-action movie, directed by Keishi Ōtomo. In this movie Fojimoto portrayed the role of ‘Kondō Isami’ for which he got much appreciation.

Some of his popular TV dramas include “Saka no Ue no Kumo (2009–10)”, “Jin (2011)”, “Taira no Kiyomori (2012)”, “Family Hunter (2014)”, “Sanada Maru (2016)”, “The Fugitive (2020)”, etc. Although he had not appeared in any lead roles yet, his work as a supporting actor has been much impactful.
