Sawako Hata was born in Osaka on September 14, 1988. She is a singer and voice actor from Japan. She was a member of the Japanese girl idol group SKE48, which she joined in November 2009 as a third-generation trainee before being promoted to Team KII. On March 29, 2013, she graduated from the group. Hata is now a member of the media franchise BanG Dream Pastel*Palettes! Hata, together with six other AKB48 members, one SKE48 member, and one NMB48 member, formed the unit No Name in 2012. No Name’s first single, “Kib ni Tsuite,” was used as the title song for the anime AKB0048. The chosen members were cast as main voice actresses in the anime, in which Hata portrayed Suzuko Kanzaki.
Hata finished 25th in the AKB48 27th Single Senbatsu Election in 2012. Following her graduation from SKE48 in April 2013, she enrolled in a voice acting school.
