Nanami Atsugi is a voice actress from Japan who has worked with 81 Produce and Avex Pictures. She was born in Nagano Prefecture on October 11, 1997. She is well known for her role as Rinka Aoba in Kiratto Pri Chan and Itsuka Atsugi in Wake Up, Girls! New Chapter. Since she was three years old, she had been in classical ballet courses. These courses have continued for more than ten years. She stopped doing ballet due to a foot ailment, but she continues to dance in other genres, emulating routines like those seen in “Wake Up, Girls!” and Haruhi Suzumiya. She also released a video called Odottemita before her debut.
She excels at only one thing: dancing. She choreographs to make her dance appealing at auditions. She liked Petit Charat, the main character in Di Gi Charat, as a child, and when she learned that a voice actress voiced Pichiko, she decided that to become a voice actor to portray Petit Charat. When she saw Iris, the band behind the PriPara anime, she thought to herself, “I want to be a singing and dancing voice actress.” After graduating from high school, she considered going to a voice acting school but decided against it after consulting with her parents. She dropped out of the seiyu path in the middle, but as a college student, she attended an audition since she had free time during her winter break.

The other two members of Run Girls! Run gave her the idea that “Nogizaka46 appeared,” which was regarded as graceful and young.
However, Atsugi rejected this. However, the members agreed that selecting a location with a young lady’s atmosphere is preferable. Her voice acting debut was as Itsuka Atsuki in the Wake-Up, Girls! Spinoff New Chapter. She worked as a voice actress in conjunction with the university after her debut. She made her voice acting debut in Kiratto Pri Chan in 2018, playing Rinka Aoba, a role she had always wanted to play. As voice actresses and theme song singers, all three Run Girls, Run! Members were involved.
