Miyoko Asou was a voice actress and actress from Japan. She was born in Tokyo, Japan, on April 7, 1926. She was most known as Fune Isono, the original voice of Fune Isono in the longest-running Japanese animation series, Sazae-san, from 1969 to 2015. In both the Fullmetal Alchemist anime adaptations, she dubbed the voice of Dr Pinako Rockbell. In the 2006 film Aogeba Ttoshi, directed by Jun Ichikawa, she also starred as an actress. As revealed on September 18, 2015, she would be leaving her position in Sazae-san. On October 5, 2015, she was replaced by Yorie Terauchi.
