Biography: Megumi Han

Megumi Han, born on 3rd June 1989, is a Japanese actress and voice actor. She works for “Atomic Monkey.” She is the daughter of Keiko Han, also a voice actress.

Megumi hails from Tokyo, Japan. She debuted as Satoshi Wada in 2008, after a general public appeal for the film “Sakura no Sono.” She studied drama at the prestigious “Department of Drama” at “Nihon University College of Art.” In an anime series “Hunter Hunter,” Megumi debuted as a voice actress in 2011. She played the lead character of “Gon Freecss.” She was chosen unanimously by over 100 applicants in the audition.

In 2014, Megumi voiced “Hime Shirayuki” or “Cure Princess” in the anime TV series “HappinessCharge PreCure!.” Miki Hase, a classmate from her university, is one of her co-stars in the series. She received the “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” award at the “11th Seiyu Awards in 2017.”
Megumi is Keiko Han’s daughter. Her roles include “Gon Freecss” in “Hunter Hunter,” “Five in “Terror in Resonance,” “Miki Kawai” in A “Silent Voice, and “Daru Dayu” in the “Show By Rock!!” series. She is Masaru Daimon’s Japanese voice in the Danganronpa series. Tara Sands provides Masaru’s voice in the English dub. In 2015, she portrayed “Izayoi Kyuemon” on “Shuriken Sentai Ninninger.” She also voiced “Cheerilee” in the Japanese adaptation of “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.” She played “Luna Kokonoe (MidoNinger)” in the V Cinema film “Come Back!”

Megumi also voiced “Kyuemon Shingetsu Kibaoni” in “Shuriken Sentai Ninninger.” Her mother debuted in the “Super Sentai Series” as a voice actress ten years before. She voiced “Snowgel” in “Mahou Sentai Magiranger.” Megumi reprises her role as “Kyuemon” in “Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.”
Megumi worked in several animated television series, including “Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G” (2012), “Jewelpet Happiness” (2012), “Little Busters! Refrain” (2012), “Fantasista Doll” (2013), “Naruto: Shippuden” (2013), “Black Bullet” (2014), “Captain Earth” (2014), and “Terror in Resonance” (2014). Her other works include “The Seven Deadly Sins” (2014), “Show By Rock” (2015), “Ushio and Tora” (2015), “Twin Star Exorcists” (2016), “Show By Rock!! Short!” (2016), “Snack World” (2017), and “Altair: A Record of Battles” (2017). She was lauded for her excellent acting and voicing skills throughout her career.
