On November 6, 1966, Kae Araki was born. She is an Osaka-based Japanese voice actor. Her blood type is B, and she enjoys reading.
Araki was awarded the part of Chibiusa in the series “Sailor Moon” after filling in for Kotono Mitsuishi, who suffered from appendicitis, as the voice of Usagi Tsukino in the anime “Sailor Moon”. Araki served as senpai to fellow voice actor Konami Yoshida while training at a voice acting school, and the two have been friends ever since.
She relocated to Hokkaido in the second grade, Kagawa Prefecture in the third, Kadoma in Osaka in the fourth, and Tomakomai in Hokkaido in the fifth. She relocated seven times before graduating from high school as a result of her father’s profession.
Because of the impact of television, she aspired to be a part of the theatre industry since she was a youngster. She didn’t want to be the leading lady; she just wanted to play. In the fall of her third year of high school, she chose to pursue a career in theatre.
She went to Tokyo after graduating high school in Hokkaido to pursue a career as a theatre actor. She enrolled in the acting department of the Tokyo Actor’s Consumer’s Cooperative Society (Haiky) training school for a half-year period. She joined the theatre company after failing the advanced exam and failing to get into the upper class. Her voice work began after she was noticed on stage by a voice actor’s office manager.
Maison Ikkoku was her debut anime project. Following that, Araki joined Ken Production. She subsequently moved on to Arts Vision, where animation was the primary focus. She replaced Kotono Mitsuishi, who was sick, as the main character Usagi Tsukino in the Sailor Moon anime series for seven episodes in 1993. The timetable called for a replacement, and Araki was chosen. She then played Sailor Chibi Moon in the series’ sequel. Her part was assigned without an audition. She starred as Miaka Yki in Fushigi Yûgi in 1995. It was her first prominent role in a television animated series. She worked at 81 Produce from August 2003 until May 2010 and is now freelancing.
