Hiroshi Arikawa has leveraged his excellent voice-acting skills over the past few decades into his professional career as a successful Voice Actor. He was a Japanese actor and voice-actor from Kagoshima Prefecture associated with Engekishūdan En. He is widely known for Ergo Proxy (2006), Seiju Sentai Gingaman (1998) and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (2010). He died on October 16, 2011, in Tokyo, Japan.

He hails from Japan and was born on November 2, 1940, in Kagoshima. He did his schooling at a reputed school in Japan and finished his further studies as well from a prestigious University. With no prior knowledge about Voice-acting, he began his research and enrolled for some roles in the industry.

His contribution to filmography has been marvellous.  For instance; Hibotan bakuto: Tekkaba retsuden (1969), Berserk: The Golden Age Arc (2012), Fuun Lion-Maru (1973) – Koreshinji Tamakage, Hashire! Shiroi okami (1990), Romeo and Juliet (1970) as (Romeo), Hamlet (1983) (Horatio), My Fair Lady (1990) as (Colonel Pickering), Tis Pity She’s a Whore (2006) as (Donado), Ergo Proxy (2006) (Hoody), Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple (2006) (Hayato Fūrinji), Shōnen Onmyōji (2006) (Tenkū), Tegami Bachi (2009) (Narrator) and many others are there.

In addition, he did a tremendous job at all his dubbing roles, like The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Gandalf), Bad Company (Officer Oakes), The Incredible Hulk (David Banner), The Mask of Zorro (Don Rafael Montero), Mission: Impossible 2 (2006 TV Asahi edition), Super Mario Bros. (1994 NTV edition), and several others. His work made him excel in this field and due to this, he made his huge fan following army. His work was not limited to one field but he has contributed in distinct fields of this industry as well, as he performed amazingly in his animations workpieces. Few are Flushed Away (The Toad), Pocahontas (Governor Ratcliffe), Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World (Governor Ratcliffe), and Ratatouille (Gusteau).

Even after so much contribution, he is not alive today. He died on October 16, 2011, at 70 years in Komae, Tokyo, Japan due to severe acute respiratory failure.

Though he is not alive, his excellent contribution to the Japanese Industry has made him a star all around the world. He was able to outshine others only because of his constant efforts after losing. He has become an Ideal to a few people out there struggling and managing their career life.
