Yukari Anzai was born in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, on December 31, 1995. Her horoscope sign is Capricorn, and her blood type is A. Anzai was born in Taiwan and spent a portion of her childhood there. She grew up watching anime programs like “Cardcaptor Sakura” and “Super Doll Licca-chan” and was introduced to the Zoids franchise by her brother. She became interested in voice acting while in elementary school and had a role in a historical play as part of class performance. Her brother lent her a DVD of the anime “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A’s” to become acquainted with the voice acting industry, and she was affected by the acting and singing of voice actor Nana Mizuki.
She is a Taiwanese–Japanese voice actor with the Swallow agency. She made her voice acting debut in 2017, and then in 2018, she landed her first significant part as Momo Minamoto in the anime series “Release the Spyce”. Anzai was inspired to pursue a profession as a voice actor after watching the series. She also listened to parts portrayed by Sanae Kobayashi, Aoi Yki, and Kana Hanazawa to enhance her abilities.
Anzai made her professional debut in 2017 after graduating from Pony Canyon’s P’s Voice Artist School. She began her career as a minor character in the anime series “Clean Freak! Love and Lies”, Aoyama Kun, and “Angel’s 3Piece!” She was cast in her first significant role the following year, as Momo Minamoto, in the anime series “Release the Spyce”. She was designated a Japanese ambassador for the hot springs of Hsinchu County, Taiwan, in October 2018 as a part of the marketing for the Onsen Musume multimedia brand.
In 2019, she portrayed Miharu Yomine in the smartphone game “CUE! Clean Freak!” which is one of her other noteworthy works. In “Angel’s 3Piece!” as Isurugi, “Love and Lies” as Schoolgirl, “Lapis Re: Lights” as Tiara, “Happy Sugar Life” as Minori Kitaumekawa, and “Release the Spyce” as Momo Minamoto.
