Tsui Hark, often known as Tsui man-Kong, was born on February 15, 1950, in Saigon, Vietnam. He is a screenwriter, producer, director, presenter, and actor. His work can be seen in a number of Hong Kong films. By showcasing his amazing works, he impacted people and won their favor. For instance, “Zu Warriors from the Magic Mountain of 1983”, “Once Upon a Time in China” from 1991 to 97; “The Blade” in 1995 are some of his important works.

He has been a writer and producer too. His productions include “A better tomorrow” of 1986, “A ghost story of 1987”,” the killer” of 1989, “black mask” in 1996, and many more. He is regarded as the master of cinematographers by critics and is in the spotlight of Hong Kong cinema’s golden age. His upbringing was provided by a huge family of 16 siblings. He came to Hong Kong when he was 13 years old and completed his secondary education in the city. He moved to Texas to pursue a career in film. He joined Southern Methodist University, further, moved to Austin, and came out with a graduate degree in 1975. After that, he moved to New York and started working on ‘from spikes to spindle’ in 1976. He was also an editor of a Chinese newspaper. Hark got many awards and is known for being Hong Kong’s best director with the golden rooster awards for 2015’s Taking of “Tiger Mountain”
