Chan Cheuk Yin, popularly known as Ian Chan was born on 9 June 1993 in Hongkong. He is a singer-songwriter and also a member of the Cantopop group MIRROR. He is passionate about playing Volleyball. He had been a former team player for the Men’s National Volleyball Team. He completed his graduation from Cheung Sha Wan Catholic Secondary School. Yin developed a keen interest in music during his early years of life. So he decided to teach himself piano and guitar.
He joined as a MIRROR member on 3 November 2018 and finally released his first single as a solo artist on 9 June 2019. He has also participated in many songwriting contests. He has written many songs like Snail, Betrayal, etc. In the 2020-2021 Chill Club Awards, He came third as the male artist of the year and also gained 6th position in the top 10 songs of the year for his self-written song ‘Snail’.
