Biography: Orasa Isarangkul

Orasa Isarangkul is a Thai actress whose full name is Orasa Isarangkun Na Ayutthaya. She was born on 18th January 1942. Her mother was Marasri Isarangkun Na Ayutthaya who was a well-known face in the Thai entertainment industry and  Rujira Issarangku was Orasa Isarangkul’s father. Orasa Isarangkul has shown her acting abilities both in movies and in television shows. Nang Tard is a Thai movie that arrived in 1962.

In this movie, Orasa Isarangkul played the character of Noo Daeng. Along with her, Adul Dulyarat as Olarn AKA Tab and Supan Buranapim as Salee were also there in the drama Nang Tard. In 1977 Orasa again featured in a film titled Hong Thong. The tale of the movie is about Songkrod, who went to Hong Kong for vacation. Over there, he came to know Hong and requested her to click a shot for him. However, despite clicking pictures, she flew away with the camera. After that Songkrod, had a confrontation with the local folks after he got to know that they were cheating him in gambling, during this quarrel, the folks shot him. In that hard time, Hong had rescued him. She took Songkrod with herself and explained to him the reason for stealing his camera. Later, Songkrod returned to his place, Bangkok and fell for a married woman. Nonetheless, because of this kind of activity of Songkrod, he was beaten up by the public’s send by the woman’s husband. After getting so badly injured, Songkrod was hoping that Hong would come and cure his injuries and heart too. In this movie, the lead characters are Aranya Namwong as Hong and Ae Pairot Sangwariboot as Songkran. Apart from them, Yodchay Meksuwan, Jaruwan Panyopas, Orasa Isarangkul, Poonsawat Teemakorn and others were also there in the film.

Nonetheless, Orasa Isarangkul has also featured in other films like Nang Ai, The Legend of Suriyothai, Ta Ba Tak and so on. In 1977 Orasa appeared in a television show titled Kom Payabaht. The tale of the movie is about Noi and Pia. Both Noi and Pia were different from each other. However, Noi had all the souvenirs of excellence and belief. On the other hand, Pia was full of wickedness. However, the saga veers around when Noi and Pia meet Wanee who, unwraps the facts about them. The significant cast units of this theatre are Metta Roongrat as Janya AKA Pia and Petchara Chaowarat as Marryat AKA Noi. Both of them were the main characters of the picture Kom Payabaht. Additionally, some other personalities were also there like Ronapop Ruj as Prawit, Chana Sriubos as Person and Orasa Isarangkul as Nuneaton AKA Yen, Nantawan Mekyai as Wanee. She has also featured in some television series like Sa Kao Duen, Khon Rerng Muang, Katanyu Prakasit, Pitsawat etc.
