TV Show Digest

The show is about pairing two random people together for a date. They are given respective missions to cover to make the dates more interesting. The first episode focuses on Jaonaay Jinjett Wattanasin and Juné Plearnpichaya Komalarajun’s set-up date. They visit Dream World, click pictures, have candy, play games, go on rides etc. Through all these Jaonaay struggles to get his missions done accordingly, while Juné can’t help getting flattered by everything he does. The second episode shows a rather intriguing date between Pop Pongkool Suebsung and Lula Kanyarat Tiyapornchai. The crux of their mission lies behind converting stink into love. Watch it to find out more about the on-screen couple. The third episode puts Kay Lertsittichai and Krit Jeerapattananuwong in a romantic pool villa house and shows how that goes.

The Feel-Good Part

What can be more fascinating than seeing an unplanned date and deriving the most out of the moments? Each couple renders their funny, sweet and awkward sides making each date unique. Jaonaay’s sweet gestures towards Juné, Pop and Lula’s strong friendship bond and Krit-Kay’s sibling moments, one can’t help but smile throughout.

The Disappointing Factor

The good thing about unplanned dates is that there are next to no things for disappointment. This drama might be such an example.

In-Depth Analysis

Providing missions, adding cute little emojis, and inputting sweet little commentaries on the couple attract much attention. The missions and chosen atmosphere sets the tone of the date. Gradually the date derives its pace in the course of their time. The prior relationship between the respective individuals also plays a significant role, in shaping the date. Juné and Jaonaay’s date gets awkward mainly because of the inclusion of missions. Both have worked together on the sets of ‘Bad Genius’ but have different ideas about their friendship. Whereas Pop and Lula already have the stage of popularity, and their companionship is readily displayed. As for Krit and Kay, their sibling nature is more prominent, which defines their closeness. Along with these, spur-of-the-moment happenings are enhanced to give it a more entertaining effect.

Furthermore, the point of view of these people on their dates keeps the show in sync. All of this put together makes it more immersing to watch. Another relevant factor of the show is undoubtedly the inclusion of different couples, devoid of their sexuality, gender or age. It upholds the speciality of the show. Not restricted to just one definition of dating it opens up the domain where their relationship with each other becomes the main factor.

Star Power

The question of acting doesn’t come up since the actors and actresses are free to be themselves. The drama rather portrays their enriching friendship. Like, Jaonaay riding with Juné despite his fear of height, Pop and Lula teasing each other and Krit-Kay acting more like siblings and having fun in the villa. Each has their own of expressing a good time. The only difference lies here is the presence of the camera.

Overall Opinion

The drama captures the relationship between the on-screen couples beautifully. Whether it’s Jaonaay and Juné’s awkwardness, Pop and Lula’s decade-long friendship or Krit and Kay’s sibling moments. It depicts their closeness off-screen through the dates and makes it a fascinating watch.
