In-Depth Analysis

The show’s theme is based on a growing trend known as ‘run-trips’, where people look for beautiful places to enrichen themselves with a healthy run. This idea casts a splendid view heightened by the inspiration of idols taking an onscreen break from their busy schedules.

The show adds this subtle notion of secrecy to capture the radiating surprise of the idols when they meet their fellow companions. Remaining true to its sense, it begins with a heartful conversation between the members and them looking around the provided residence. After rough introductions and settling down in their respective rooms, their first trip around the place begins. The camera moves through the curvatures of the hills giving marvellous birds-eye views and shots. It guides the viewers along the many places in sync with the running girls.

The show sets an inspirational tone other than highlighting the blooming aspect of a good run around nature. People can take a break, set their thoughts to settle or merely take a lap enjoying the panoramic view of nature. By not restricting the show to the run-trips, it draws a natural fluency of life moving on under different circumstances and brings along the idea of staying in sync with its flow. The many conversations between the members regarding their past hardships and current struggles shed light on this view. It braces their bonds and successfully provides a sentimental aspect to it. Human connection with nature and spirit becomes the foregrounding concept making it less professional but more humanitarian.

Moreover, to boost up the members and give a replica of an enhancing journey to the audience, it includes the idea of maintaining journals. The inclusion of different games and activities spices up their stay, adding the concept of a girl’s day out or a mini vacation. It becomes more fun when they introduce a chart of the places they’ll be travelling, which captures the views of Seosan, the beaches of Taean Gijipo and many more. Furthermore, DJ Jang Yoon Ju’s deep calming voice brings the idea of listening to the soothing podcast and attaches an extra layer of relaxation. Various genres of music catch the attention in subtlety as the playlist in the background goes on per the emotions. These different elements act as several options for viewers to choose and customise their ways of making their run-trips unique and worthy. In the span of four episodes, it touches upon several concoctions of concepts. Thereby not limiting the idea of running and extending it to various domains.

Star Power
