TV Show Digest

Kick a Goal is a one-of-a-kind sports show where celebrities as well as non-celebrities form a team and play soccer. They are trained by the best players of the Korean World Cup soccer team and the players include famous girl group idols and actresses. A revolution involving women soccer and the entertainment industry, this show has some nerve-wracking matches that will keep you glued to the screen.

The Feel-Good Part

The show is totally based on women’s soccer which is absolutely rarely found in the Korean entertainment industry. So, this will be a refreshing watch for all the viewers. The show is a continuation of its prequel, ‘Kick a Goal Season 1’, which adds to the experience. Watching the growth and skill up-gradation of the players, who had almost no idea about soccer, under the guidance of the talented players feels really comforting and motivating at the same time. The matches between various teams are very competitive and unpredictable which will surely be the source of a healthy dose of adrenaline.

The Disappointing Factor

The game in the show has a slightly different format from the usual soccer games. The teams have fewer players and the time duration is also less. This is a bit confusing and unsatisfactory. Moreover, in this season, the field on which the game is played is a bit small. A bigger field would definitely make the matches more interesting. Also, the editing of the matches is not up to the mark which degrades the overall quality of the show.
