Every person who is into Kpop knows this funniest and craziest member of Exo. The one and only, Byun Baekhyun. He has worked so hard to give us so many great hits and amazing OSTs; he surely needs some time to relax so he can come up with many more incredible blessings to our ears. ‘I Play Alone’ is a series of three episodes entirely based on Baekhyun’s daily life of recreation and relaxation. This series is indeed a thirty-minute treat for all the Exols.
The Feel Good Part
Many fans and viewers appreciated this show as they could feel a strong connection and closeness with their idol. They could admire Baekhyun’s life beyond music. Only they wished the series to have more episodes and running time, yet it was perfectly edited and organized. Baekhyun reached out to his fans by responding to fan letters which were quite heartwarming. He also talked about his album “Delight” and single “Candy” with his fans. It was beautiful to watch him having fun all by himself.
The Disappointing Part
The viewers didn’t find anything disappointing in this web series except that it could have been a little longer. Baekhyun fans will never get tired of watching him being cute and crazy.
In-Depth Analysis
In this three-episode series, Baekhyun connects with his fans to have a lively and meaningful conversation. He is provided with a fully furnished apartment to live in for three days where he can relax and enjoy his free time. In the first episode of ‘I Play Alone,’ he is welcomed with some snacks, games, and ingredients to make the then famous dalgonna coffee. He starts by having some snacks and arranging the robot figurines. He tells the fans how much he loved these games during his childhood. After finishing off the robot figure, he decides to order a pizza. Well, pizza is mandatory! He talks about his favorite pizza while enjoying it. Also, he mentions the new solo mini-album “Delight” that was released on 25th May 2020. In the second episode, he starts by playing various video games. No doubt, he is excellent with arcade games! After playing for a while, he goes to make a dalgonna coffee. The second episode is all about the Baekhyun energy. The third episode brings out the little mischievous side of Baekhyun. He gets on a call with some unexpected guests in the show and plays a small quiz game. The first lucky participant of the special Baekhyun quiz is none other than the main rapper of Exo, Chanyeol, and then the heartthrob of Exo band, Kai. Baekhyun asks them about his new single “Candy” and the new album “Delight.” After a fun conversation with them, it is time for some real talk. Baekhyun responds to questions of his fans’ and concludes the series with a deep direct conversation with them.
