This movie has a lot of humor that you will enjoy throughout. The staged sets are very realistic and make you feel like you are in the 80s.

Close to the end, there was a vital shift from comedy to political drama, which was tragic. But then it comes back to being a comedy.

This film is not overtly political but focuses on the comedy and drama side. With the 1980s setting, the film did a great job of portraying a hard time when democracy was not yet a reality by employing dramatic events. “Best Friend” illustrates the tension between personal ideals and obligation. The film depicts a typical friendship. It is a life-threatening friendship on both sides that, in the end, they overcome differences and difficulties. It has action, drama, and comedy, which are a good package for entertainment. Close to the end, there was a vital shift from comedy to political drama, which was tragic. The cast in this movie is predominantly male, and everyone did a good job. Jung Woo (Dae Kwon) and Oh Dal Soo (Eui Sik) have a great connection and gave a solid performance.
