Innocent until proven guilty is the catchphrase to fight for justice. But what if the protector of the law is involved in conspiracies, resulting in intrigue. It is in such a quagmire that innocents get trapped and, have to fight for their lives to get out of it.

This forms the basis of the fantasy movie wherein in the Tiahne period, Mourong Feng is the chief attendant of the Tianjian division. He captures a tiger Jiao who defects to heaven. Unfortunately, in prison, Jiao is killed, and Feng becomes the prime suspect.

In his bid to prove his innocence, Luo Xi joins him as she can help him prove it. Both of them head to the Heavenly Forbidden Division and it is here, they realize that something is amiss.

The division that could protect them might be the reason they are in this quandary. Solving the conspiracy including Jiao’s demise forms the rest of the story.

The Feel-Good Part

The movie has brilliant visuals and the costumes are resplendent of that period. The importance of the tiger in the culture is obvious yet poignant.

The storyline is a tad weak and perhaps unreal, but then it is a fantasy fiction.

In-Depth Analysis

In the movie, the male lead is suspected of a grave wrongdoing that he has not committed. But to prove his innocence, he needs to a witness which, he has, and the support of the law.

But when the division that safeguard the laws of heaven is part of the grand plot, then how does one prove their innocence?

In the movie, both the male and female lead set to prove the male lead’s guiltlessness, but end up uncovering a scheme, that could create problems in heaven

Star Power

Both the leads are ably cast and supported by the other members including the tiger.
